A record turnout, a borrowed box truck, and a long line of neighbors show that Cedar County cares more than anyone had suspected. More details - and a fuller thank you list - will come in the new year as volunteers sort the thousands of cans collected during the most comprehensive food drive our warehouse has ever run. Click on the full story link below to see photos from the day, and read a note from our director in her own words. (Full Story) (1/15/04)

What do creative services include?

Creative and branding is the design work a campaign needs, from the ads themselves to the identity behind them. That covers display ad production in every standard size, logo and identity work, brand boards, refreshes of tired creative, and the variations that let testing pick a winner. Nonprofits, contractors, and banks all get one concept cut for every place it runs.

The quiet advantage is that the creative is built beside the media. The same team planning your display, social, and streaming campaigns designs the ads that run in them, so nothing waits on a third shop and the message stays consistent from the billboard to the banner.

The creative for a campaign gets built to fit each placement it will run in, and every campaign comes with variations, because our media reporting tells us within days which version earns the budget.

And what we make is yours. Logo suites, brand boards, and source files are delivered to you instead of held hostage, and the same standards carry into a small business website when that is part of the job. There is one boundary worth naming, video production is the single thing we do not produce in house, we run video, we do not shoot it. Our client reviews cover how that works in practice.

Creative and branding FAQ

Updated August 2026

What's the difference between a logo and a brand?
A logo is one mark, and a brand is the full system around it, the colors, type, voice, and usage rules that make everything you put out recognizable as yours. The distinction matters at buying time, because a mark alone can't keep the twenty display sizes Google supports, a mailer, and an annual report looking like one organization. That's why a logo quote and a brand quote look nothing alike.
Do we need branding, or should the budget go to ads?
Campaign creative comes first for most organizations, because ads need artwork and we design it inside the media work. Identity work earns its budget when your name is getting in the way of results, or when a merger, a name conflict, or an expansion forces the question. We do both, so tell us what's in front of you and we'll tell you which one your budget should go to first.
How much does branding cost, and why is it that expensive?
Sortlist's analysis of roughly a thousand rebrands puts mid market budgets at $10,000 to $60,000 with a median of $24,500, and the price covers strategy, identity, design system, and rollout rather than the mark alone. One agency guide puts implementation, the signage, vehicles, templates, and reprints, at 20 to 50 percent on top, so budget it early. If the budget is tight, we scope strategy and identity first and defer the rest.
Do we need a new name, or just a new look?
A new look and a new name are separate decisions, and renaming needs its own justification, because a rebrand can keep the name your community trusts. The Pod Agency's credit union rebrand research puts formal complaints typically under 0.2 percent of membership, and the ones that come are predictable. If the name does change, renaming your existing Google Business Profile keeps the reviews, per Google's guidance, though local rankings dip briefly.
How do we know it worked, and what do we show the board?
Brand work is harder to measure than a click, though the board gets numbers from message testing, searches on your name, and how the new creative performs in the media we run. Because we run that media, we can put the new identity in front of your audience and watch how it does against the old. When a rebrand shows no lift, the usual cause is a rollout that stopped partway.
Do we own the logo files?
Yes, everything we design is yours, including the source files, the master artwork every other version is made from. We work the same way on the media side, where your organization owns its ad accounts, because your brand shouldn't be hostage to any vendor, including us. The files come with your brand board, the one page that sets your colors and type, plus usage guidelines.
Can we use a Canva, Fiverr, or AI logo for our business?
You can, and a Canva, Fiverr, or AI logo usually looks fine, though owning it is the part the price doesn't cover. Template elements are licensed rather than owned, marketplace work is only as exclusive as its agreement, and the US Copyright Office generally doesn't register purely AI generated output, so the mark may not be defensible as yours. For a placeholder, go ahead, though build the brand on artwork you own.
How do you keep our brand consistent across every platform?
Consistency comes from one set of rules and one team applying them, so your colors, type, and message match across streaming TV, search, paid social, display, and email. Your brand board and usage guidelines carry the rules, and we build every ad size against them rather than squeezing one file down. Templates cover anyone else who posts, prints, or presents for you, so staying on brand takes no extra work.
Do you produce video?
No, video production is the one creative service we don't do in house. We design display ads and full brand identities, and we run video campaigns across streaming TV, YouTube, and paid social, so we know what a campaign needs a video to do. If yours needs one, we'll scope the simplest path to get it made, and footage you already have often covers it.
Our last rebrand went badly, so why would this one go better?
When a rebrand goes badly, it's usually one of three things, no agreed problem statement, too many deciders, or a rollout that stopped early, and we fix those first. We quote concepts plus two rounds of revisions, and the second round should be the last one, though extra rounds are priced by the size of the work. Published timelines run 8 to 16 weeks, and slow feedback is what stretches them.
